The Indian Immunology Society was established in 1972–73 with the aim of developing and expanding the field of immunology through training and research.

IMMUNOCON 2026 is the 53rd Annual Conference of the Indian Immunology Society, a prestigious scientific event bringing together researchers, clinicians, academicians, and students working in the field of immunology and biomedical sciences.
The conference is scheduled to be held from June 10–13, 2026 at SKIMS (Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences), Soura, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
The event is organized by the Advanced Center for Human Genetics, SKIMS-Soura , with the aim of promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration among experts working on immune system research, disease mechanisms, and translational medicine.
